世界物理治療日（World Physical Therapy Day）9.8

1951年的9月8日，世界物理治療聯盟（World Confederation for Physical Therapy）正式成立。1996年，WCPT決定将每年的9月8日設定爲世界物理治療日，其目的在于使全球的物理治療師認識到他們在促進和保持人類的全面健康工作中承擔的重要作用。每年的世界物理治療日都會有一個主題，今年的主題是“慢性疼痛”。

　　什麽是物理治療師？

　　物理治療師，英文名是Physiotherapist，簡稱PT，是使用運動、手法和理療等物理方法，治療和預防疾病的臨床工作者；物理治療師大限度地促進、維持和重建病人的任何運動和功能。

　 與醫生的區别

　　物理治療師是康複醫學的主體，主要通過主客觀評估做出物理診斷，再根據物理診斷所反映出的實質問題作出治療計劃，利用運動、手法和理療的方法治療疾病。

　　醫生是臨床醫學的主體，主要通過症狀、體征和查體做出臨床診斷，再根據臨床診斷寫下治療處方，利用藥物、手術、輸液或其它方法治療疾病。
